One number per year. Nothing hiding behind it.
BHMS prices the year, not the tuition: accommodation, meals during the academic semester, Swiss health insurance, visa administration and airport pick-up are inside the total.

Questions
Money questions, answered
What exactly do the totals include?
Tuition, operating costs, living expenses and the application fee — the culinary track adds a uniform and knife set. Operating costs (CHF 2'600/year) cover mandatory health and medical insurance, visa/B-permit and local tax, e-campus and internet access, excursions and field trips, and your first airport pick-up. Living expenses (CHF 5'900/year) cover a shared standard room with meals for the 24-week academic semester.
Where do I live during the internship?
The living-expenses line applies to academic semesters only. During Swiss internship placements, room and board deductions are taken from your gross monthly salary — and accommodation is provided free of charge during term breaks.
What do direct-entry students pay that others don’t?
The CHF 1'000 application fee is charged in your entry year (Year 2 or Year 3), and the culinary-track BAs add a CHF 500 uniform and knife set. Everything else is the standard per-year table.
Are there discounts or scholarships?
Paying the year in full 90 days before term start earns a CHF 1'000 discount. BHMS also publishes GPA scholarships: CHF 500 for a GPA of 60–69%, CHF 1'000 for 70% or more.
How does the internship offset the cost?
Each academic semester is followed by a six-month internship; Swiss hospitality placements pay a gross CHF 2'390/month before deductions for room, board and social insurance. Over a full three-year BA that is up to 18 months of paid work.
When is what due?
A reservation fee is payable within 10 days of the letter of acceptance; the first year’s fee upon visa approval; subsequent fees before term start. Cancellation 90+ days before the start is refunded minus the reservation fee; visa-rejected applicants receive a full refund minus a CHF 500 administration fee.
