Every BHMS Bachelor of Arts runs the same way: 3 years, 180 ECTS (360 UK credits), and two degrees at graduation — one from BHMS and one from Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, UK).
Each year combines one six-month academic semester in Lucerne with one six-month internship in Switzerland or worldwide — 3 internships across the full BA. Swiss hospitality placements pay a gross CHF 2'390 per month.

Academic route
Completed the first or second year of a hospitality or culinary arts program at another institution? Join the matching year at BHMS and finish your bachelor's in Lucerne.
Work-experience route
Verified work experience in hospitality or culinary arts equivalent to the first-year curriculum can fast-track you into Year 2, skipping Year 1.
Direct-entry admission: minimum age 18 · IELTS 5.5 · completed at least one year of equivalent training or two years' work experience.
In certain cases, you may be required to complete an additional term to fulfill the module requirements. Year 3 direct entry is limited to selected intakes.
